 Director
of Engineering (Req # A0308)
We are currently growing our engineering team, seeking top-notch talent to
design and implement new features for our service. You will be part of a small,
smart, hard-working team focused on an exciting product vision, working with a
talented group of entrepreneurs that has successfully built software startups in
the past. The position is based in Pune, India and reports to the Director of
Engineering
Responsibilities
- Architecture, design, and implementation of new features and products
- Converting business requirements into technical specifications
- Performance optimization, production deployment, and aid in client support
- Anything it takes to make our product a success
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required. Masters is a plus
- Lives and breathes software programming, design and architecture.
- Passion for solving interesting problems
- Strong distributed systems, object oriented programming & database
concepts.
- Strong C++ or Java in Linux/UNIX.
- Decent experience in Perl or Ruby or any other scripting language is
required.
- Familiarity with SQL is a must
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Nice to have: Background in Search Marketing or Search Engine Optimization
